As soon as a new phone comes out, everyone wants to have it. iPhone and Samsung Galaxy series are most loved among the shoppers.
Samsung has launched the Galaxy S8 in India and it’s already available for pre-order at Flipkart. Let’s take a look at 8 reasons why you should buy it.
1. Brilliant Display

Display is one of the most important factor when people consider buying a phone and Samsung blows every other phone away with it’s gorgeous Super AMOLED display.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 comes with 5.8 inches (14.73 cm), 1440 x 2960 pixels Super AMOLED Display with Corning Gorilla Glass v5 on top. The display’s gotten taller and runs edge to edge, thanks to it’s bezel-less design. Samsung calls it the “Infinty Display”. All in all it’s going to be pretty darn awesome to look at.
2. On-Screen navigation Buttons with 3-d touch

One of the reasons I used to dislike Samsung was lack of on screen buttons. I’ve always used phones with on-screen buttons like Sony Xperia Z1, Moto E, E2, X and G3. Samsung’s done the right thing by integrating the keys into the display. The home button can be hard pressed to reach home screen when viewing full-screen content or to unlock to home-screen from lock-screen when paired with a trusted device.
3. f/1.7 Cameras
Although the primary camera is same as last year (which was awesome!). Secondary camera has improved from 5 to 8 MP. The primary camera has 1/2.5″ sensor and 1.4 µm pixel size. It has phase detection autofocus and OIS for faster focusing and better videos.
4. Exynos 8895 Octa-core SOC
Samsung uses Octa-core (4×2.3 GHz & 4×1.7 GHz) in Big.Little configuration to deliver faster and efficient processing with optimum battery usage. This new SOC also comes with better quality (32-bit) Audio DAC and Bluetooth 5.0.
5. Iris Scanning
Iris scanner is fast and useful when you want to unlock your phone quickly. The note 7 had this feature but it got banned due to overkill of it’s battery capacity. Learning from it’s lesson previously, Samsung decided to stick with 3000 mAh Battery.
This might not seem like a big deal but it really is. You never know what’s up with these huge companies. Galaxy S5 had waterproofing but ditched it with s6. So, it’s really awesome to still have it on S8 after S7.
7. USB Type C
It has USB type C connector for better connectivity with other devices.
8. Last but not the least

It has a headphone jack.
